Treat art as love, and we’ll learn to understand it more.

Art is the embodiment of the human connection between each other.  So don’t just live in ignorance of it, claiming, “It’s just paint; it’s just words; it’s just clothing…” Live for more.  Challenge yourself in going further.  Go deeper!

Art, and lack of art, have served as the reflection of my spirit lately.  Probably even further back than that.  I find it being the daily reminder of how my soul is feeling.  Neglected?  Nurtured?  Indifferent?  All creativity in me has stemmed from some external thing affecting my internal livelihood.

It’s never “Just” for me.  I don’t dream like that, and I certainly don’t wake up like it either.  Creativity is the recognizance of self and world communicating; making sure something new is always challenging something in existence…

Abracadabra has ruined the art of magic.

That’s because magic isn’t embedded in a cutesy catch phrase, or a deck of trick cards. To me, magic is a force.  It is something that weaves itself effortlessly through space and time.  In certain moments, this force crash-lands in the bedroom of a young writer. Other times, it may glide through the canvas and capture the eye of a painter; triggering some stroke of genius to inspires their generation!

Magic is alive and well.  This magic is home to the sweet spot I try to stay in while creating my art.
